I've joined the site, other than that I don't know what to say except that I have always been a heavy drinker but now I feel I want to do something about it.

The first thing i did after joining was read ... read .. read , there is a whole lot of good people and experience here , i certainly found it useful .
Seems like you've found out how to post so any questions just post in the relavent area and people will usually respond , newcomers area is usually busier

usually gets a bit busier when our american friends wake up , it's a bit early for them yet ... and quite a few of them have big snow so might be having a lay in .

I quit 16 months ago , finally, and life has been better without drinking

you are right, mecanix, us Americans are just getting onboard...& unfortunately some of us are dealing w/inclimate weather...(I miss living in the South this time of year) but we are all here for you!!
