Got a new temporary sponsor :)
Perhaps my first experience with a sponsor was a good thing in that I learned quickly that sometimes sponsor/sponsee relationships need to end--and that is ok. We move on easily with the support of AA as a whole behind us.

Good lesson for everyone to know. It's not a marriage - it's a guide and mentor. My sponsor, when we first started working together told me"We just know each other from a 12-step recovery program. We're not friends. But maybe one day we will be".
