Don't you dare downgrade to Amoeba or Paramecium or something.... I'm thinking at minimum it has to be something with a spine since you are working so hard to strengthen yours.

My younger son LOVED raccoons as a little kid. We used to buy him Christmas ornaments and gifts with raccoons on them.

He's now 24, but a year ago his g/f gave him one of those animal hats that was a raccoon--it's adorable.
