You do the math. You have along time sober.

I was thinking. I started drinking around 18 years of age. I stopped drinking the day after my 43rd birthday. These are average figures.

1 to 18 years of age= 6570 days.
18 to 43 years of age= 25 years or 9,125 days more or less drinking!

The average age of death for a male in the United Kingdom is 78 years.
43 to 78= 35 years or 12,775 days.

That's alot of time to turn around my life, make a new start and enjoy.

Sometimes it's not all doom and gloom.

This is absolutely fantastic English and so inspirational!

I did 0-16 years sober= 5840 days

16-24 years drinking not everyday but about = 2555 days

Average age of death for male in UK is 78. 78-24= 54 years or 19,710 days.

How inspirational!!
