"Intervention"

Great show.

My mom could always "tell" who would stay sober and who would relapse. And she was always spot on.

Oooo I haven't heard of that one.

It's a very sobering show. No pun intended! :P

I enjoy that show sometimes. Funny enough, I used to watch it all the time while getting massively loaded.

I watched it ala 'my' wine. I used it as a barometer to show that I wasn't as 'bad' as they are. My liver lab tests told otherwise. While not quite as dramatic as some of those on the show - I worked and maintained a house and family while getting blitzed every night and sometimes days.
Being sober feels so much better in the long run, but it is still a struggle each day.

LOL. One of my favorite anecdotal stories I tell is that my alcoholic career can be summed up in this: I used to open a can of diet coke, pour out half and fill it back up with Captain Morgan... Watch Intervention and think to myself, "whoa, that's $&)?'ed up!"

Yeah, I love that show too. It is still on A&E. I also watch Drugged on National Geographic channel. The last one was really, really painful. I've watched it twice just to keep the story in my mind.
