Hi everyone. I'm very grateful to have found this place. I hit my rock bottom with alcohol on New Year's Eve, and I've been sober since January 1. I also have a big problem with binge eating, and since I've already binged today, my all-encompassing sobriety date will be tomorrow, January 6.
I'm really looking forward to talking to everyone. Thank you for being here!

You're making a great decision for yourself! I remember my day 1 very well and how important it was to be able to come here and talk to people who understand what it's like. Glad you've joined us!

gigi, I see that there's an eating disorders board here in the special interest groups. For now I'm just lurking about in there. I travel often and tend to have a night-owl schedule, so I think that online support will work better for me than in person. The internet is always open, thankfully!
