There won't be another 'perfect' numerological lineup
until Jan 1,3001.Damn near 1000 years off and I am
unlikely to see it...even if I up my fresh vegetable
intake (substantially).
I won't waste anyones time with any purported
significance of of such events. As a man of science--
trust me----there is none.

(next up....the Mayans and their f****d up calendar,
fools didn't correct for leap year, but hell....it's all in
good fun!)

While I don't begrudge anyone their fun with today's date, I don't acknowledge it for one simple reason: it's AD 2012, not AD 12.

Curses FOILED AGAIN!

Snidely Whiplash of Rocky and Bullwinkle fame........

Yeah,Snidely got his 15 minutes of fame....but....
honestly.....is it deserved? I mean, how hard is it
to whack a squirrel? The moose I get.
Snidely & Wily Coyote......all doing the same crap
week after week...... but never getting the desired
outcome.......(kinda like codies!)
So where can I get me one of those Acme Addict
repair kits!?!?!?

Methinks KE is setting up a masterful back handed maneuver to
sabotage my 1 year No Contact-----hence robbing me of my 1
year N/C coin!!!!!!

I buy the Acme Addict repair kit....re-initiate contact.....find
myself UNDER the rapidly expanding shadow of a 2000# anvil....

......I've seen this before-----I know how it ends...

(Clue: Wile-E-coyote does NOT catch high speed bird!!!!)

You give me much more credit for purposeful sabotage than I deserve.......or is that denial?

You're gonna regret that.......

"Beep Beep" is onomatopoeia representing a noise, generally of a pair of identical tones following one after the other, often generated by a machine or device such as a car horn. It is commonly associated with the Road Runner cartoon in the Looney Tunes cartoons featuring the speedy-yet-flightless bird and his constant pursuer, Wile E. Coyote. "Beep, Beep" is the name of a 1952 Warner Brothers cartoon in the Merrie Melodies series.
Chuck Jones, the creator of the Road Runner, has stated that this sound, the only way the Road Runner can harm the Coyote, was inspired by hearing a Doppler-like effect as background artist Paul Julian imitated a car horn when he could not see where he was going. Julian voiced the various recordings of the phrase used throughout the Road Runner cartoons, although on-screen he was uncredited for his work. Although commonly quoted as "meep meep", Warner Brothers, the current owner of all trademarks relating to the duo, lists "beep, beep" as the Road Runner's sound, along with "meep, meep." According to cartoon historian Michael Barrier, Julian's preferred spelling of the sound effect was "hmeep hmeep".[1]

.....Wikipedia says we're both wrong.....or did that kinda say we're both right?

Whatever.....a truly skilled codependent HAS to be right......lol. (She says smugly, arms crossed, and fully prepared for the next comeback.)

Bring it on Vale.

......and so it was,in the early morning of 12/13/2012....... that Vale lost it.

Undeniably bested/humiliated by an SR member of higher birth (community greeter vice common
poster).... his psyche simply (for lack of better terminology) went 'astable'.

He booked the first flight to Boston.A short taxi ride later----he was at the addict's door,
begging her forgiveness for turning his back on her in her time of greatest need.In
his pocket.....benjamins,lots of 'em.It was as if the previous 363 days never happened.

And as he stood there,in that cesspool off of ____street---which so easily could
have served as a set for an episode of "hoarders"---he wondered aloud if Kindeyes
could see the catastrophic damage her "need to be right" had caused......

......A Grand Mal codie relapse straight from the jaws of hell-----2 days short of
one year clean!!!

So here I sit,on what passes for a couch.....between an addict & her
violent felon 'friend'......watching Roadrunner reruns at 4AM.All is
forgiven.....in fact she's really glad to see me.

I'd love to write more, but their cellphones have been ringing all
night and it's time for me to make another ATM run.

I'm glad that you now understand that:

You caused it,
you can control it,
and you can cure it!

Now we need to transact a little business, by PM if you
like! "I'm gonna need"* your credit card number, expiration
date, and 3 letter code on the back....and I'm gonna need it
before noon today-----you don't want me sinking FURTHER,
do you? I know you are GOOD person, and will come through
for me unlike all the others.

It's 10:33 and I haven't heard back from you yet.
I messaged you 4 minutes ago.
I thought you understood the situation is serious
and I need the $$$ NOW.

If you don't know how to PM me,just put your
credit card information HERE on the open boards.
It's REALLY important!!!

(Sweet memory lane! Her asking for my CC# from
jail----along with requesting that I go pick up her
jeans at _________'s place.....her bail bondsman!)

To this day I ponder WHY she left her jeans at
a bail bondsmans place!? She must have been
washing them!

Codies are better than regular people. They
always assume the best......never the worst!!!!

(and to anyone who gets 'bent' by our using humor
as a weapon to counter this terrible and devastating
trial of codependency-----believe me---in this battle
you are going to need every last resource)

Wait a minute.....it's coming back to me.......just because you are in crisis does not mean I have to be in crisis.

Ouch.......maybe the jeans were a downpayment on the bond? Expensive designer jeans? They have street value.....really.

Celebrating with you, Vale! I do love the sound of those Blue Angels (got to watch them last summer right out of my office window.....very cool!)

For one, I love your humor. Sometimes it's very healthy to laugh at ourselves. I'm sure there was a time when there was absolutely NOTHING funny about my codependent antics.....but I look back on it and I'm amazed. I think there could be a sitcom on it or at the very least a juicy mini-series.

hugs to you for the one year anniversary of drama independence! (you can't see me but I'm DANCING!)
