Please help,
I am addicted to opiates and started on 120mg morphine. I tried cold turkey and felt so bad so i have been tapering for a few weeks which seems to be suiting me much better. I am down to 40 mg which is 2 tablets and i am having sweats and bad agitation.
The problem is, i dont know how long to stay on 40 before going to 20mg... I feel so so proud to have made it this far but need some help to know how to do this and ensure i dont feel like i am proper dying.

Ah i see... sorry guys,
I didnt know we couldnt talk about that kind of stuff... anyways, i think i am getting there!! This site is just such a saviour and massive support to me as no one knows what i am doing. I have managed to hide it... but i know i have a problem and i am so grateful for finding this site.

I am still fighting on. Woke in a pool of sweat 3 times through the night but i am doing this for my son!!!! I will dfo consult a doc if it gets too much but i really think all is going to be ok!! I have hope.

Medical detox
I 2 was addicted to opiets and had to be medicly detoxed. It took 5 days in a detox facility. Then i did 28 days in a in patient treatment facility. It saved my life. Dont try it by your self. It is not safe. Good luck.

As others have said, definitely ask a doctor. They should help you through this process.
