State of Emergency Not Good For Recovering Drunk
The weastern USA Is being pounded by a series of rare major storms. I was awake all night by the wind Tomorrow to be flooding. It is hard for me to be shut in and sober. I just need to hang here and hang on. Peace and love

you can do it Fitz! i know you can! i read your posts here all the time & just know that there is support here when there is no where else to go! you posting helps me in my recovery 
I'm in so cal & we've just had a bunch of light rain here - nothing too drastic here, but i can relate to what you are saying as there was a time (or 2 or 3 or...) here for me that i would use the fact that the power was out or it was raining or whatever as a "reason" to drink & party. Grab a hot apple cider & curl up with SR - we're all here hope the storms don't cause you any trouble!

Oh it sure does. Hope you are not near the carson river or the Truckee.
I have been there when they 'flood' their banks and it is NOT a pretty
site, nor a good living condition, yuk

Hang in there Fitz. This too shall pass.
The rain is dampening my spirits a bit, but I'm safe and warm and experiencing no power outage, so I can't complain.
