Sock therapy.
So I was feeling a little down for a couple weeks. A few things just shook me up and got me in a really negative place. (Did the rectal ostrich routine...burried my head up my own arse).
I decided to spend a couple days at my farm/camp after Thanksgiving. Packed up everything but socks. SO I stopped at a store and bought 8 pair of new socks on the way up.
I have to say a nice fresh pair of socks every day is doing wonders for my mood. I'm just shocked at how something seemingly so simple really just starts my day with a good perspective.
I defy anyone here to try a new pair of socks at the start of every day for a week and see if you don't feel even a little better..... man, I feel like a million bucks right now and I'm only on day 5.

New pair of socks. Any new undergarments, really. It *really* is the simple things. Unfortunately, we just like to complicate them. ;-)
However, I *have* truly been enjoying the simple things lately. And I am so much lighter and happier for it. :-)

Omg I love new socks. Absolutely LOVE them. One of the finest things in life.
When I saw the thread name I thought, "sock puppets...?" Lol glad I didn't judge the book by the cover. Good times.

I change my socks about twice a day. Apparently my feet perspire a lot.
I understand how you feel right now! Lovely socks! By the way, old socks are great for dusting and cleaning, just insert hand and wipe away the dirt off items! I found a lot of uses for old socks!
And for those who walk a lot, those "old fashioned" shoe insert things now come in Double Thickness! It's like walking on a cloud!
