Wow- The folks have said being sober is a gift

Hi folks, first time in the chat room, from what i've seen so far here in the topics are quite good it's all real. I can relate finally to some of things i've been expriencing

This is a quote I seem to overuse but I think it's because I relate to it so much 'I didn't start living life in recovery, I started living for the first time'. It's something like that but it is true. Being clean and sober is a joy the majority of the time. Other times it's really not but hey that's life. I have the ability to use the tools of my recovery to battle lifes troubles.
