60 days since my last drink!
Yep, I've made it 60 days without a single drop of alcohol and it feels great. Unfortinitly a couple of weeks ago I did have a brief slip-up with xanax & percocet but it only lasted a couple of days and I felt so much shame, hopelessness, and disapointment that I jumped right back on the wagon.
My depression & anxiety has pretty much left, I'm learning to love myself and others which is a new thing for me. I look and feel great, and because I'm not drinking drugging I can take consistent good care of myself, ex: brushing/flossing everyday, taking vitamins everyday. Life is good, thanks to AA, SR, and my family for supporting me I am able to do what I never thought possible. Oh, and I give all the praise to my lord and savior Jesus Christ, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13.
