Seeing a little light at the end of he tunnell...

Iam 9 days sober today and it has been hard the withdrawels have not been pleasant the anxiety has been horrible but today I have had a few times when I feel an amazing feeling of calm and happiness and feel totally present in the moment!!

If that's how long term sobriety feels I won't more, iam an alcoholic so more is always better lol.

Those periods of calm between the anxiety get longer each day. Focus on that. I feel complete peace and serenity every so often and it makes the awkwardness more bearable.

Good for you. Here's to double figures tomorrow.

Calm is good.
Hangover and obsession bad.
Keep going.
Do not fall for that little voice in your head that tells you,
"Go on Lion, that was easy, you are not an alcoholic, you can have one or two".
