Newcomer

Hi everyone,

I excited to have join my first online sober community! I've been sober for 5yrs as of Sept. 4, 07. I'm an alcoholic. It amazes me everyday that I have come this far and put down "the bottle". What has come to me since then has been surreal, and never been better. Had no idea life could be this way. Even on my bad days, nothing compares to my drinking days.

Welcome Steph! What great news - 5 sober years.

I am approaching my 5th year too - I also didn't think life could be this good without drinking. It's wonderful to be free.
