It's often a good idea to get your Dr involved...detox can sometimes be rough for some of us...
Are you interested in face to face support as well? - like AA or some other recovery group?

Hi there. Welcome! November is a great month. I am one week sober tomorrow, and if I can do it, anyone can. I drank all day every day. It feels so good to stop. This place is great, and there are many other great options too.

Welcome Denise. I had been drinking my whole life when I joined SR. At that time, I was also drinking 24/7 - and in sad shape. When I began to open up here, I felt so relieved - everyone was kind and understanding. They didn't judge, just gave me suggestions and great advice. I hope you'll find it to be helpful and encouraging, too.
