Is this usual?
Hello everyone, I am on day three and feeling quite depressed. No energy, no focus... Hopeless! Lately, I have had many episodes where I would drink then stop... then drink. This is the first time where these feelings of hopelessness and depression (with panic attacks... never had those before) are so intense. Just wanted to share. Thank you.

Eve those reactions in the first days of detox are pretty normal. And if you read and/or go to a lot of meetings, you will find that most have found that every relapse is a bit worse until they are very bad.
It is also very important you have your doc dialed in to what you are doing. Failing that, do not hesitate to go to the ER if you feel very badly, the idea is to get past withdrawal issues and not go through that crap ever again, right?
