When I went into treatment My wife hooked up with an old friend. Divorced after sober but sober. I can post, listen to music, eat, watch a movie. Life is as good as I make it.

Awesome post, Fitz. I do appreciate your honesty about everything. That was an extremely brave thing to post and I admire that.

I also love the "Life is as good as I make it." It's SO true. I really needed to see/hear? that. The only thing we can truly control is our attitude and reaction to situations we are placed in. These are choices we make on a daily and momentary basis.

It's good to get things out..... and yes, life IS as good as we want to make it.
