I guess it depends on what you're kicking. Gabapentin is an anti-seizure medication and sometimes used for neuropathic pain also. It makes people loopy, i.e. dizziness, fatigue, etc.. My Mom was prescribed it for a while it made her pretty whack so she stopped taking it for pain. It is also NOT generally recognized as an aid for alcohol withdrawal. I have to agree with Milroy here. Getting sober isn't easy but it's usually best to pursue sobriety with as few pharmaceutical aids as possible. If you're not a seizure candidate then I'd stay away from this stuff. Check with your doctor to be sure though. Good luck.

I used no drugs when I de toxed from alcohol...it only took me
3 miserable days and then I was done.
