Day 5

So, I told myself that I would write on here at least once a day. Last night was probably one of the worst nights I have had in a while. Not because of drinking or anything, because of work. I am a waittress and just started a new job. I was all ready and excited and last night was my first night on the floor and I just... tanked. Everything went wrong, the bar was out of half the things my customers asked for, I spilled a glass of water on a table and managed to lose a ten dollar tip along the way. Rough night.

Today is my second shift and I am hoping it goes smoother. Last night I wasn't craving a drink, but I was craving a cigarette sooo badly. I am also trying to quit smoking. Minus the couple of cigarettes I had the other night when I drank, I am almost 3 weeks without a habit. Now I am back to a mere five days without a cigarette, but what can you do. Just move on and work towards better things.

That is all for now. Have a great day everyone.

those things would probably happen anyway, but you'd have to deal with a possible hangover or worsen anxiety because of drinking.

at least you deal with things and you are sober. life has plenty of ups and downs, why create more and more downs by drinking?
