First Meeting - I did it :)
Made it to the meeting tonight. As I ... feared?... suspected? ... hoped?!! ... am glad I went. Of course, I thought it was at a different location (turns out that's the Tues. meeting, lol!) and had to back-track to this one and made it right when they were closing the doors and starting the meeting. Whew! As if I wasn't nervous enough!!!!! Geez!
So was a good meeting. I only introduced myself and said I needed to just listen, and told them I was on Day #2, to which a young guy said, "Cool!" Hah! And one guy had a 40-year birthday (!!!!!!). Anyway, was a quite large meeting but welcoming. Turns out the town I live in is famous for its recovery centers - that people come from all over the World to go here, so I'm thinkin I must be in the right place, eh?!!!
Want to thank everyone here for your support on this. Was a tough thing to take that first step.... So now I know where I'm going Tuesday Night, lol!!!!!
