I think I can get over my regrets.
I think I can get over my regrets.
I always focused on my regrets as a reason to drink, but not now. I realize that I have wasted a ton of money, time etc. But, because of SR I can see why I have to move on. I cannot replace the money or time lost, but I am only 34 and can change. I think this struggle and being sober will help me appreciate life more. I will not waste my money on booze, and my time will be spent with my family.

It is never too late to turn around. You just have to do it. Start today. There will always be an excuse or reason to put it off.
But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, (Philippians 3:13 NIV84)
I am older than you & turned around 9 months ago.
It was the best thing I ever did for myself & my family.
Keep your eyes on God. He'll give you the strength you need.
