early morning but I like it. Private and quiet like I own it. I'm not sick dazed confused. Maybe I am but not for the reason. I would still like recovery to clean my house for me. Why can't I have it all. Could someone send me french toast or a waffle. Going to meditate then a meeting where I won't say a word but might laugh. over 6 months again.

Yeah, I keep expecting to wake up and for the house to be clean. When I drank, I always woke up to a messy house, broken stuff. Who did all that and why aren't they cleaning now?

Waking up sober, being fully present for my kid's laughter, having heightened senses so that I am better able to smell fresh coffee, that glorious little kid scent (their heads smell like warm bread when they wake up). . .nothing beats it really.

I usually wake up from having a drinking dream and have to convince myself I didn't actually drink the day or night before.
