8 days sober
I have 8 days sober today and I am really craving drugs. I feel like staying sober is an impossible thing for me even if I know it is NOT impossible. I went out and bought drugs...After buying drugs I felt bad and got rid of the drugs and went to a meeting. But tonight I still want to get high 
I've been crying every day and I feel like it would make me feel better but I know it won't and I know if I use tonight I will regret it in the morning. I don't know what to do anymore and I feel like giving up but at the same time I know I can do it. Just don't what to do and think at the moment

Some sort of exercise,
listen to some speaker tapes XA-Speakers - The lights are on!
get some ice cream,
take a shower or bath
Putting my urges into an action around the house often helped me.
Best wishes, getting past this first stage is the hardest part of recovery.

do you have people to call from the meetings? a sponsor?
If not, stay on SR - it's got me through many of those nights.
Things do get easier - providing we keep doing the right thing

Remember bro that obsession will be lifted through the steps. Keep with it man you can do it. When that happens, drop to your knees and pray for that obsession to be removed. and then call your sponsor or another alcoholic. Helping others is always the best thing, and thats what your doing by calling people. your keeping them sober. I'll pray for you man.

You need lots of numbers man! i got a whole spiral full of numbers somedays ill go down the list and nobody will answer. thats god telling me to give it to him. and ill pray for as long as it takes for that obsession to go away. But get lots of numbers man.
