100 days today

Thank you everyone here at SR. SR has been my only recovery program (besides my own spiritual efforts) and I find so much wisdom and understanding here. I feel like when I was drinking my life was like being hooked up to a life support machine; I was breathing but I wasn't living. These days are sometimes harder but they are real. And for that I am deeply grateful. I am grateful for my husband who never threatened to leave even though I would have been gone long ago if the situation had been reversed. I am grateful for my beautiful children who light up my life. And I am grateful for this second chance at life, an opportunity I hope not to take for granted again.

Congrats on 100 days! I've also recovered with just SR and some support from family and friends (I'm now over 3 years). Keep it up, it just gets better!
