Hi I'm new
I just joined :/ I came to the realization that I was spiraling downhill no matter what I did. I woul always wake up lookin for that next pill. I shamefully admit that I've only been clean for 25 hours but it's been over 2 years since this has ever occurred. Reading everyone's stories are an inspiration and I only hope to be as strong as y'all when this is over

Shameful for 25 hours clean? You should be PROUD!
You're giving yourself the chance of recovery. Something so many addicts never get to have. Remember addiction will only lead you to 3 places: jails, institutions or death. It's just a matter of time.
Do this for yourself. You're worth it. You deserve it. We all do.

Keep it up! I am now on day 4 and looking forward. I know it seems like time passes slowly when you're sick, but you don't want another 2 years to fly past you and to be looking back saying "If only I had quit 2 years ago..."
We are all capable of doing this! and I hope you keep up the good work!

Welcome and congrats on wanting a better life! I am on day 12, it can be done. My body is still rebelling somewhat, but my mind is in an infinitely better place than it was the first days. It is worth it! Hang in there.
