Welcome to SR!

You can do this!

How much were you drinking of alcohol and caffeine? Have you spoken with a doctor about any of this?

Staying stopped is the best thing I've done for me in 51 years! You can do it, too!

Stick around, there's a lot of support here.
Love & hugs,

You know, I find it harder to quit caffeine than it was to quit alcohol. Granted I'm only a a short time into my recovery from alcohol, but I've never made it more than a day or two quitting caffeine.

It is sooooooooooo easy to accidentally slip on caffeine. Go to the drive through, slip up and order a Dr. Pepper, boom....you are drinking caffeine. I've never "accidentally" ordered a beer or mixed drink. LOL

Caffeine is just so pervasive in our society. Like it's being shoved down our throats or something.

Welcome Yes, society makes it a little more tricky to avoid the caffeine. Or in some areas, avoid poor food choices too! Glad you're here. Glad it's going good for you!

Right123, you are FANTASTIC. Believe it or not, caffine is a physoactive drug, right down there with meth, herion, and coaine. Good for you.
