amazing who walks into our lives in recovery
i was at a meeting yesterday and a man i had worked with about 15 years ago was there. i has seen him at meetings a few times ove the last 2 weeks and thought i knew him, but i know my thinkin can be wrong.
anyways, after the meeting, i gave him my phone # and he says, " i remember you from somewhere." then i realized i had wored with hom about 15 years ago. i had a LOT of resentments toward our boss because of the way he treated him( he was fresh out of high school), plus others not involving the young man. he told me he had to quit that job because of the homocidal thoughts he had towards the boss. i started laughin because i could fully relate!! he seemed rather relived when i shared a bit about my resentments and what i did to get rid of em.
prayin theres another one thats gonna enjoy the journey of recovery through the felowship.
