I know THAT'S right!! Though I'm both an RA and a recovering codie, it took having people point out the obvious and education to get where I am today. To me, ignorance led to denial, and that is SO not a place I want to be today.

The god doesn't give us anything we can't handle thing. That one drives me insane and I cringe too.
I figure with free will, well he ain't giving us anything, it is just life.
And if we were expected to handle it all, then there wouldn't be shrinks and support groups and counselling or the need for drugs, any drugs...
