Sunday morning and off work going to church to thank God for a sober 5 days.I thankall of you for your support this is the best I have felt for a long while sleeping good and eating normal.Only problems are the stupid cravings and how my mind plays games with me but I know one drink and back I go I am proud of myself for five days.I WILL NOT DRINK TODAY..............

Good for you, it's hard to put into words how much better I feel now. Breaking the cycle takes time, lots of time for some but well worth it and it only takes a split second for me to 'think through the drink' now and the cravings are nearly nonexistent. I'm over 8 months sober, but 90~100 days was a huge turning point in my recovery.

I can't agree more - waking up sober with a great weekend day ahead of you is a fantastic feeling!! No church for me but hauling out the kayak. Have an amazing sober Sunday!
