Milestones!
As you all know I'm in the UK so it's almost 7pm here. I'm just about to start putting my makeup on to go to a bar for the first time in YEARS! The drinking age here is 18, but my ex didn't let me go out to bars. I turned 21 today 
and my sponsor talked me into going out to celebrate. I'm self conscious and sooo nervous about going out, I actually feel sick. But as she said, if I don't go out to celebrate my 21st then when will I ever go out again?!
Aaargh. People using drugs and alcohol scare me. Please tell me I'm going to be fine!

I had a fabulous evening, it was great to just go out dancing with my sister and my best friend and just have FUN. I haven't laughed so much in a really long time, it was so much fun. It was great to just enjoy myself and not spend the evening worrying about what I would be going home to, what kind of awful mood my ex would be in- to be honest I wouldn't have even been allowed to go. It was amazing to just enjoy myself and just enjoy being ME!
