Cbt?

Has anyone undergone CBT for any reason? What were your experiences?

Hey ainsley, I love the principles of CBT and try to practice them daily. It is the kind of thing that requires practice, especially if you're often stuck in negative thought cycles, but it is worth the effort.

The day time programme I was in for my cocaine problem included CBT and I found some of it useful as it made me think about my using.

Some of the sessions were useless but “the cycle of change” was amazing as it really made me think about my using and how I need to change my life.

It can be briefly explained via the link below – take a look

The 5 Stages of the Cycle of Change
