OT - Update - Dakota's 4 1/2 years Off Treatment Scans
Hi again SR Family,
I had originally came here today to post about Dakota's upcoming scans and ended up writing a whole other kind of update so I figured I would just start a new thread and let all her SR Aunties and Uncles know that she is doing great! She is 8 years old as of Feb 9th, she is getting so big and smart. She has been through a lot for a little girl her age, but we are coming toward the 5 years off treatment mark this October and that will be when the doctors consider her "cured". They will term her a cancer survivor. I will always consider her "healed" by God with the help of some pretty great doctors
Anyhow, now for a little prayer request.
@ 8am tomorrow morning Dakota is scheduled for her 4 1/2 years off treatment chest xray and abdominal ultrasound. Please keep her in your prayers as well as me. Even thought deep in my core I know she is clear. I still seem to feel a bit sick at scan time. I think it is the fact that I have no control over results, but I know God does so she couldn't be in better hands then in his.
Love to all,
Dakota's Mommy aka Passion

I read your other post first, before I came here, but yes, of course my prayers go out for that precious girl, Dakota.
It's so good to hear from you again, please give that little girl a hug from her Auntie Ann.
Hugs
