[FONT="Comic Sans MS"]Woohoo!!! Just over two weeks without smoking and I haven't lost the plot or murdered anyone.

Dear friends, IT DOES GET BETTER. The cravings still sneak up once or twice a day but they are nowhere near as strong and they do not last long.

Stop for a minute and really look at what we have been doing. Rolling up some nasty, cancer-causing, chemical-filled weed in paper, sticking it it our mouths, setting fire to it, breathing it in, paying a fortune for the privilege of being sick and smelly and then, the really silly bit, doing it again and again and again. The amazing thing is not that we are giving up but that we were ridiculous enough to do it in the first place.

WE ARE ALL TOO GOOD FOR THAT STUPID BEHAVIOUR. Every one of us.

Hey Maggie how are doing? Day 12 for me on chantix, cough drops and black licorice snaps. I am amazed that people like you can do this cold turkey. Hope everything else is ok. Thanks for inspiration!
