Wanted to say hello, and happy new year!
Hi all, Just wanted to check in as I've been offline for a few weeks. Things have been REALLY good! I have been (for the most part) sober since I last got online. I had a few drinks on New Years and a glass of wine with dinner once or twice, but for the most part have had sober days and nights. My husband and I get along better... we laugh, and go to sleep together and I get up early and actually accomplish everything that needs to be done that day. Our move went very well and I am unpacking boxes as I write this and am enjoying every minute of this change in my life. I also stopped taking all my prescriptions... even the ones I thought were helping, and I think that made a huge difference. I think pills can def help in some circumstances, but I'm not sure if they were doing anything for me, and I seem to be fine without them so I'm gonna leave them alone for a while. I just wanted to update you all, and I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Hi CB,
I've been wondering how the move went. Glad to hear you made it safely. Glad you found the time to check in and looking forward to when you are settled enough to be a more active member here once more.

Hey CB - I was wondering how everything went. I'm glad things are so much better.
Be careful with having one here and there - sounds like you're handleing it but... I don't know from experience but it sounds like many people go back down the rabbit hole when they start "just having one." Just stay away from the stuff and enjoy setting up the new house.
And have fun in La La land

Late to this, because not sure what to say really. Glad you're enjoying the New Year, but hope you have a support system in place because the cravings will return at some point, often after the sheen of New Year wears off. I've seen New Year resolutions work and lead to long term change, if people are very serious, but you need some backup and accountability for it I think. All the best anyhow Camille.
