30 Days Today!
30 Days Today!
Today marks 30 days of sobriety for me. What a wonderful way to celebrate Christmas. I would to extend my sincere appreciation for all of the love and support that I have received. Special thanks go to Dee for his wise words, courage and kindly encouragement. To those still suffering, I am living and breathing proof that sobriety is achievable - one day at a time. We are here to support you and show you that change is possible. Wishing everyone a wonderful, sober Merry Christmas!

Congratulations!!
Besides the wonderful sober feeling, it's nice not to have to 'stock up' for the holidays and worry about which liquor store is open latest. Boy, am I saving money this year!
Have a great holiday.

Congratulations - be proud - enjoy your christmas gift. !! Keep up the work !
Hard work leads to continued dry time - further work leads to long lasting sobriety.
I distinguish the 2 - because there are for an example, a lot of "dry drunks" - out there - they are dry - but will little to no spiritual growth or improvement.
They are characterized by a hostile, irritable, mood, full of disdain, lack of accpetance, appreciation, and tolerance for the others. ( the cornerstone of 12 steps )

Congratulations, tanja.
This is my first Christmas clean in a few years, too. I marked a year a few days ago. Last Christmas I was miserable, in withdrawal, sick and scared. I came here to SR and found my recovery home. I hope that is true for you, as well.
Merry Christmas!
