30 days clean

I'm feeling motivated today. The week-end was difficult. Every relapse I've had happened close the 30 day clean point so I was prepared. Attended a meeting, church, cleaned, cooked, and read everything I could find on here to keep my head filled with positive thoughts. I know every day I could rationalize a trigger. Knowing it will pass and I'll feel better the next day or the next day keeps me going. I will not use today. Feeling alot of guilt for what I have done and for what I have not done but I'm working on forgiving myself today.

(((lostgirl))) - way to go on 30 days!!! Glad you were prepared and got through it. I'd always heard that "anniversaries" may be tough, so I've stuck closely to SR every time I've hit a milestone.

Hugs and prayers,

Amy

Thanks everyone who read and supported my post. By posting honestly I am trying to be accountable. I've lied to myself and others in every relapse and I'm trying to change my behavior and forgive myself for the past.

I'm a believer that exercise is the best thing for my brain repair right now. It is the last thing I want to do. Don't have the energy and don't want to do it but I did last night and I could actually feel emotions again in a healthy way. Did some googling on the web and everything I've read promotes exercise. I only made it 20 minutes and I plan to workout again tonight after work. It may have to be at home with daughter for a while since I can't afford to join a gym or a babysitter. Anyone else finding exercise helps. Please share and so will I.
