I never imagined...
how strong my will power was. Tonight, was a night where I watched the clock. I knew the liquor store closed at 9. I usually have jammies on at 8. but i stayed dressed. Kept my wallet out. I was ready to go. I wasnt even out the door and I was beating myself up already...just for thinking about going. Quarter to nine, i needed to get involved with something. SO, down to the basement i went and hauled up the heavy freakin christmas boxes!!!
Then proceeded to decorate the house. Had some tea. Now it's quarter after 1am, and i am eating mushroom soup watching TV cause i just can't sleep. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.
BUT, Day 8 is done. Day 9 has started. Christmas parade with the kiddos tomorrow. First time in 3 years, I will go sober. Normally I spike my OJ with Vodka.
This will be fun, i Just know it.

Oh wow, a parade...
The last time I went to a parade, I woke up out of a drunken stupor, found some more wine in the house, chugged it, got on my bike and made it as far as the side walk, came back to the side of my house and threw up as all kinds of people were walking by going to the parade... it was raining too. Ended up going to the parade, still drunk, weaving in and out of people on my bike, nearly hitting many. I don't even remember what the parade was for, not sure why I went but when you're drunk, anything seems like a good idea...
I WON'T MISS THAT!!!!!!
