Day 32 the sun came out today

Alright, here we are on day 32, I remember my first day was a day of travel from Las Vegas to home, hung over like I hadn't been for a long time. After all I had just completed a 6 day, 6 night binge that would put even Ulysses Grant to shame. The only thing I ate or drank that day was one 16oz. 7-UP and almost didn’t keep that down. Day two the realization that I was really going to quit the very nectar that placed me in this terribly ill state (started getting my mental affairs in order). Day three I started the cleanse/detoxify process, this would continue over the next week. What I ride that week turned out to be, I was in a dazed state all week (clearing out the poisons and toxins). Week two, time to allow my body time to heal from the detox. Lots of fruit and veggies, also plenty of fluids and vitamins. I also started taking fish oil and milk thistle (rebuilding and healing my body's insides). Week three, I started to work on getting in shape, walking, jogging, biking and lifting weights (rebuilding and healing the outer body).

So here, I am thinking it over and understanding the process I've gone through and wondering why I hadn't done this a long time ago.

It was as easy as 1, 2 ,3... Oh and um 4?!?!

1. Get mental affairs in order (most difficult and still necessary)
2. Clearing out the poisons and toxins (most dangerous)
3. Rebuilding and healing my body's insides (most delicious)
4. Rebuilding and healing the outer body (most rewarding)

Good luck everyone!!! If I can anyone can...

Congrats on your first sober month! Feels good to feel good again, doesn't it?
