10 days straight
Made it another day. I was so busy until a few minutes ago I didn't have time to think about using anything.Unfortunately as soon as I stopped the dark side started talking so, here I am. I'm beginning to believe I can stop using.
Tomorrow, big challenge, big payday.
Gotta make a plan.

I heard someone on these threads share that if we put all the money in a jar that we purchased our drugs with we would have ample $$ to spare.
The idea frightens me, too. Don't want to turn around and give myself an excuse to do this to myself again...

Way to go on 10 days!! You can make it through payday. I didn't really have that trigger, but I've heard it helps to make the money not as accessible (put it in the bank, freeze your bank cards) - waiting for the cards to thaw out gives you time to think, maybe check in on SR?

I didn't have payday as a trigger so I never really thought about it. I do remember being surprised at the amount of money in my account the first time I grocery shopped - but that was because I missed a month of eating I was so sick from w/d!

nefer...that's awesome! You are aware of the payday trigger...and it's just your addictive voice talking...you are in charge, it's not. Now, see when I get paid, I reward myself with a new pair of funky shoes...but I know that doesn't work for everyone LOL

I got money 4 days ago and haven't spent a penny, just cause. How funny (strange) is that. I like being in control now, makes me feel like I can do anything and I am gonna try.
