hi all, katz here, female 42 from uk,
my problem has always been binge drinking, last night i drank a whole bottle of red wine, my first whole bottle for a while i may add but still i am reeling that i could still do it and quite frankly, dont want to do it anymore, trouble is, in the future, i forget that i've said all this
thing is, i am feeling tenderness over the liver area, im not yellow, but i am itchy and feeling nauseous so i am concerned that i have been very silly and done some damage..not the first time i can tell you and each time i say the same thing
so i've joined this forum and hope to engage in your discussions and gain some real inisght enough to tell myself i really cant get away from this anymore
i am seeing my gp on tuesday so i will tell him and aske him if i can get my LFT checked
great forum by the way, looking forward to getting to know you all on here and hopefully vice versa!

Welcome Katz. I'm a 24 year old male who struggles unecessarily with binge drinking. I'm glad you have realised that this is not how life needs to be and sought help and guidance here at SR. The guys here are great and welcome with open arms. Congratulations on making the start to a new, improved life of sobriety.
Oh and it is against the rules to offer any medical advice here at SR forum so visiting the doctor about your pain is 100% the right way to go. Good luck!

Hi katz! Great to have you part of the family. Glad you're going to your doctor.
This is a great place that will help you sort out your drinking issues. I've been able to quit, after a lifetime of drinking - because of the encouragement I've received here. Hope you will stay and share more with us.
