Hi everyone, my alcoholic nephew reached his bottom today and hung himself. He went into the hospital last week with a bac of .31 and was supposed to go to rehab when he was released. He ended up getting a ride from baltimore to pennsylvania and then walked or got a ride back to owings mills. His wife had a restraining order against him and while she was at work he broke in and hung himself. He had been slowly losing it and I just told my sister this morning about the post on here about the guy with the brain tumor who committed suicide. The nephew who did this is not the nephew I want to remember. I am so upset. Please pray for my family especially his 17 yo daughter and my sister.

He is at peace now. How sad that it takes giving up, to find peace. May his family only remember the good things, alcoholism is a thief that stole your nephew . Remember him in the way he would want you to.

So very sorry for your loss. It is the same end I am fearing most with my mother. I love the mother, but I hate the way alcohol makes her act. I can't imagine what you are going through. I can't imagine what his daughter is going through. Of course there are bad memories dealing with his alcoholism. but that was the alcoholism and not your nephew.
