Another newbie with high hopes

Hi all..thanks for the forums. Ive been reading here for awhile now, a year ago and then more recently the last two weeks that I have been sober! (yay). So I already feel like i know some of you and figured i may as well register since im Finally fully dedicated to my long term sobriety. I have been an addict and alcoholic for twenty years now and some of the fog is finally clearing, its amazing how good it feels to think clearly. I am going to AA meetings when i can and got a sponsor for the first time. A little about me, I am married and have a three month old daughter and plenty of work, family, relationship, and legal troubles. Glad to have another tool available to anchor me in case I begin to gravitate to my old ways and looking forward to settling in here

Welcome Fallow. We have the same sobriety date. Lots of love and support here. I have been going to AA as well. Hoping to find a sponsor soon. Week 2 feels pretty good. Things are definitely getting better. Great job on 2 weeks
