How do you work with others today?

First....I gotta go wheere they are....for me that is meetings and SR.

By listening carefully ..I can gage if they are ready for my ES&H That is what I think of as each one reach one..

If I am mistaken....and that person is not yet ready....by sharing....someone else hearing me well may be. You just never know.

I have to make myself available. I make myself available outside of meetings, too, and, like Carol, I show up at meetings and here, share my experience when asked and with some patience, tolerance and respect, listen carefully.

When addicts want recovery.....they seek help, they ask questions. I know I did! Still do!

How I "work" with others depends on who they are and what they want. Specifically, I mean I'll cater my assistance to the individual. Like the literature says, I need to know what they want to do about their problem (the lengths they're willing to go to) and how I can help (the lengths I'm willing/able to go to). Being available is key...so I try to make myself available for those who seek what I have to offer (ES&H). Sharing is one of our basic tools for carrying the message...and I'll do that almost anywhere.
