Need an Addict's Perspective Please
My RABF has been off of suboxone/opiates for 81 days now.
He has come a long way, but seems to still be very much in his own little world a lot of the time. We both wish to continue this journey together, but we are at a semi-awkward stage in which we both are working on ourselves and rebuilding. It is like we are working on two separate rooms in the same house, and both projects take up all of our time and resources. I know we both need to be doing what we are doing right now, but the periodic distance is frustrating. Energetically speaking, there is a wall which has been placed between us--I'm guessing to protect both of us from my potential interference and involvement. What I am wondering is, at this stage, what is it like on the other side of those walls, and is this normal to be going through?
Thank you
