Hope this is the last time....
For the past 4 years I have had roller coaster lifestyle of ups and downs all caused by alcoholism, these past 2 weeks have been the worst by far. Ive come to a conclusion that I need help, in order to stop abusing alcohol, it has ruined my life so far and I will not stand for it to completely tear me apart. Hope this is the turning point of my life and to completely drop the bottle one and for all.

Hi Skatehead-
Welcome to SR.
We've all been there - at "the turning point". Be careful b/c you can still sink much, much deeper.
I had to change who I was or the same me would drink again and again and again. Maybe this is true with you too?
Turns out I needed help. I simply couldn't outthink my own alcoholism. Action had to be taken.
Start out by doing something, anything, everything different.
Great job posting here. There is power in the asking for help.

Kjell~
Way to go, Skatehead - glad you realized what alcohol was doing in your life. Admitting it is hard but that's when we can start changing.

It takes so much courage and integrity to realize first; that you might need help with a problem and second; to actually take action to get the help you need.
That's a really hard step for some of us. I know it was for me. But once I accepted help, I quit drinking and things get better and better.
Welcome. Wishing the best!
Much love.
