Starting recovery now. I'm a double winner, I guess. Two years sober (AA) and now dealing with my sister's constant relapses. She's been to outpatient treatment, inpatient and was attending AA. She's been out of work for almost two years and extremely depressed. Lives alone in another state 500 miles away from me.

I've missed her these past few years and I am sad. She won't return my calls only emails. I think she's back in a hole of using and I am just down today.

And plenty of hugs. It really hurts when someone close to you is choosing to ruin their life with an addiction. I hope that she does find her sobriety, when she's ready for it.
