383 days later and 4000 miles away.
Im so grateful to have found a site where people are SERIOUS about recovery! I have a hard time, because I am young, finding other people who can relate to me. I am 383 days sober today and happy. Boy the things you get excited about when you are off drugs.. are endless! My addiction is oxycodone, and when I was 15, I started injecting it. I can tell anyone who is still suffering from this mind-control disease that, there is light on the other side, and you CAN make it. I am so grateful for you all and finally a place where I will not be judged. thank you for the courage and strength

Welcome! I was also happy to find this place... for the first time I know that I am not alone. All of these years I thought it was just me. Last night I was truly laughing at stuff from the bottom of my heart, I felt so good to be alive and I now remember what being sober feels like. I am never going back.
Congrats to you for staying sober all of those days!

Congrats on a year, that's awesome.
It may seem like there is no one out there to relate with, but they are out there. In fact, it wasn't until just recently that I realized there are TONS of fun and awesome people out there who don't drink or use.
