Can I just get a hug

Or 2.... Same old, same old. Except now all emails are typed by the GF under his name and email account. He's got his very own ghost writer. Add in some odd statements by DS and....

I'm following Thumper's guidelines, though, on the emails.

I sat DS down and told him we're not irresponsible for having 3 kitties in the house and yes I will die some day, but not anytime soon.

Could really use a couple hugs.

Trying to breathe and ignore that they exist for at least a couple more hours. Great pizza from a great pizza place for lunch. Then my sister and I are going to go window shopping after DS is picked up for dinner.

Gosh, here are a few hugs for ya! I bet some sister time will help as well, remind you of how strong you are.

I wish we didn't all live so far away from each other.

Lots and lots of hugs and prayers coming your way. I'm glad you're following ((Thumpers)) guidelines. I'm hoping the lack of reaction, on your part, will get through to her and she'll stop the nonsense.

Hugs and prayers,

Amy

Oh, they ended up cancelling their oh-so-important "work function" thingy tonight? (Or am I confused on the date?)

No confusion, TJP.

Well, maybe, yes, they cancelled the important 'work event'. I got an email from 'him' yesterday afternoon saying she would pick up and drop off DS. (This after her telling me over and over and over that the court ordered that one party would pick up DS at the beginning and then the other would pick up at the end of the visit, so I HAVE to pick up DS at the end... Ummm, actually, the furthest the court order goes is to say there are no issues with transportation costs.....)

Today, I get a text from him, which turns out to be sent at 2:15 this afternoon, saying one of his friends has an emergency and he can't see DS, then I get email from him and then I get a voice mail from her. I'm thinking that the ER has something to do with over celebrating for the Superbowl, but maybe I'm just cynical.

Any one recall that the f-head is only supposed to contact me by email? Good lord I really hate the cr-p they're pulling, even though it means I get a whole weekend with DS even if it was in such a way that I couldn't plan anything.

One of these days, you and I should go out for coffee. Or maybe meet in a park with our coffee cups, so we can b**ch without bothering other people.

I can't say I can imagine what it must be like for you. But it sounds like a little slice of hell. Or two.

Hang in there. (((hugs)))
