Hello I'm trying to make today my 1st day sober
Hello, I have done my fair share of drugs and such...I'm trying to quit now.. I came across this message board and I hope I can get support from other people with similar problems as mine and support others as well.

ChrisCross, your post made me want to "Jump, Jump!" I realized over 10 months ago that I could no longer have a relationship with alcohol if I wanted to live my life to the fullest. I found this forum that very night, and I've been here and alcohol-free ever since.
Of course, much more is involved in my recovery than SoberRecovery.com. But it's a wonderful site with tons of great people who have so much experience and support to share with you. Thanks for joining us, and I'm glad you're here!

Day 1 is an excellent start
and by taking one day at a time those days will soon add up.
Though no-one can go back and make a new start,
anyone can start from now and make a new ending.
