Hey, I'm 2 weeks sober today!

I'm feeling pretty good actually. My energy isn't quite right yet but my depression has definitely lifted some and I'm feeling stronger, not so on the edge. I still have drinking thoughts of course but I'm able to distract myself, I don't dwell on them like I did before (I'd have 2 voices going in my head, and one really wanted to drink), it's getting easier to dismiss the thoughts and move on to something else. I think I can get used to this way of life. No regrets. ;O)

Congrats on 2 weeks. Just like you I dismissed the drinking thoughts and moved on with my life. I never regretted it either. Best wishes to you!
